👨💼 Admins play a crucial role in managing user and card settings to ensure efficient allocation of resources. In this guide, we'll walk you through the straightforward process of reallocating limits for inactive users and cards, empowering you to optimize your platform's functionality and enhance user experience. Let's get started! 🚀
There are two ways how to reallocate limits for Inactive Users and Cards.
OPTION 1:
Note: To reduce the limits of those cards, the user needs to be “Active.”
To do this, you need to visit the user page. Below are the steps for your reference.
1. Navigate to the Users section in the left sidebar menu. Then, click on the Filter button.
2. Filter by Inactive, choose the users from the list you want to edit, and toggle the selected user to Active.
3. Once finished, you can decrease the user limit to $0.
4. Go to the Cards section and select the Frozen & Inactive tab.
5. Select the cards assigned to those users.
6. Set the card limit to $0, then proceed by clicking Submit.
You will then see the unallocated amounts reflected in their respective departments.
OPTION 2:
Alternatively, companies are allowed to allocate more than 100% of their total credit limit to help avoid instances like this.
For example, if the Sales department is currently at its $15,000 limit and needs to be increased to $25,000, then the department limit can be increased by an additional $10,000 to make it $25,000, thereby allowing the funds to be reallocated to other users.
